Aix is stuffed full of
restaurants
of every price and
ethnic origin. Place des
Cardeurs, just northwest
of the Hôtel de Ville,
is nothing but
restaurant, brasserie
and cafe tables, while
rue de la Verrerie
running south from Hôtel
de Ville and place Ramus
has an immense variety
of Indian, Chinese and
North African
restaurants. Rue des
Tanneurs is a good
street for low budgets.
The cafe-brasseries on
cours Mirabeau are also
tempting, and in between
them you'll find cheaper
snackeries and pedlars
of delicious fresh fruit
juice.
