FRANKFURT
AM MAIN - EATING AND DRINKING |
 |
| Hotels
in Frankfurt am Main |
Not surprisingly, given its status
as one of Germany's main urban
centres, Frankfurt has a wealth of
gastronomic possibilities. Whether
it's vegan breakfast, Japanese

Restaurants
Many of the restaurants in the
city centre are fast-food joints
or credit-card rip-offs for unwary
lunching business people, but you
will find some of the best Thai,
Mexican, Greek and Italian food
here too. Other districts with
good concentrations of restaurants
are Sachsenhausen, Westend,
Bockenheim and Bornheim, the inner
suburb due north of the Altstadt.
When there's a trade fair on,
advance bookings are virtually
mandatory, and most restaurants
are open on the day or days
they're normally closed.
