Definitely
one-of-a-kind, this place
is owned and run by the
inimitable Dominot,
life-long drag chanteuse,
formerly of Paris, who
performs Piaf here on
Thursday evenings. There's
nothing else like it, at
least not in Rome. Dominot
is Tunisian by birth and
the fare here is
accordingly couscous, made
by himself, including one
for vegetarians. The decor
is a charming hodge-podge
of memorabilia from his
glittering career,
including a gaily-lit
carousel pony that floats
above the bar.
